Oppo N1 sets Lazada Philippines on fire

Manila, Philippines – The local online e-commerce store of Rocket Internet which also owned Zalora — Lazada Philippine — is running a week-ender sale this week. While it seems to be just one of those usual sale, we found out they’re offering the OPPO N1 for only P9,999. That’s a Snapdragon chip with full HD display for just under P10,000.

Oppo was formally made its presence in the Philippines just last month, adding to more than a dozen global, regional and local brands in the local market. The device was launch along with it are five (5) new mobile phones, including the Oppo N1 with its rotating 13-megapixel main shooter.

The phone sports 5.9-inch full HD IPS LCD with a resolution of 1920×1080 at 377ppi pixel density, Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core clocked at 1.7GHz and topped with 2GB RAM, and 16GB of on-board storage.

The listing was quickly pulled off by Lazada within an hours, most probably due to erroneous pricing. We receive reports though that a few people manage to get thru the sale. The question is, will Lazada honor those verified purchases at that price?

The suggested retail price of the Oppo N1 is supposed to be Php26,990 so the Php9,999 sale price is a steal.
